This heavy, think walled vase is just under 10" tall. The gold band on the rim is metal as is the floral decoration around the body. Large slightly indented polished pontil. A similar one sold on Ebay recently and the seller said it was Moser, and there's a similarly decorated different shaped one on Etsy that the seller says is Josephinenhutte. Anyone here know the maker? And what would you call the metal floral decoration? The only word that comes to mind is "damascene" but I'm not sure that's correct. Thanks so much, Janice

Robot sez-'Using a metal glaze squeeze bag (a pastry or piping bag w/ metal tips) is a way to apply dimensional glass appliques or liquid glaze onto glass surfaces. It allows for highly controlled trailing, piping, or drawing directly onto your piece.'
Here's a very limited list of companies that used this technique (prob hundreds/thousands of others)-Daum,Galle',Moser,Heckert,Tiffany,Legras & Cie,Harrach,Kralik,Thomas Webb and Stevens & Williams.
PS- We've got a few 'Glassies' here waayyy smarter n' me ! @TallCakes maybe ?
