Featured Czech painting

I bought this oil painting literally off the wall in a fancy restaurant in Prague some 15+ years ago. I have a hard time interpreting the signature, can anybody help? I'll post a close-up of the signature.

It is a very nice painting.

It would have been relatively new when Balder bought it. Restaurants often exhibit art by local painters, a win win arrangement, the restaurant looks good and the artist gets more exposure.

 

The year says 1993, I bought it in 2001 or thereabouts. The proprietor was initially not at all willing to sell it to me. On a hint from the maître d', I sat down with the owner and two very good bottles of wine - that did the trick. The gentleman turned out to be an art collector, the wine also opened the doors to his private rooms where his collection was displayed. A most memorable evening.
