Featured Daggar Handle

    thumbnail_image5.jpg thumbnail_image5.jpg thumbnail_image6.jpg thumbnail_image8.jpg First find with my metal detector in my yard of all places! Lol! Any information or advice on how to proceed with some identification would be great. It was located 3 inches deep in my yard in a subdivision. I would think maybe it was brought in with the fill dirt during construction in the early 70's? I did take it to a place that buys gold and it was not gold. Thanks for any help or thoughts. I am planning to take it to New Orleans this weekend to a shop in the French Quarter. We will see?

    Antique sword shop in New Orleans was not too interested in it. They just said that it looked to be of modern construction. No details why. So I don't really have any information to share other than that. Oh well?
