    I am on my phone all week so having trouble seeing what you are talking about. Have never seen clay over metal. Any chance that just the base is metal?

    Wow. When I looked at that label I thought 1940s by the style of the label. The label looks earlier than 1967.
    Not arguing that it is, but just looks older.
