Date this Miniature copper oil lamp P & A acorn burner.

    I found this 4" oil lamp at my local thrift. i don't usually look at the miniatures that much thinking they are usually Japan or Taiwan stuff. But then i noticed the burner. so i did a few searches and see some are selling these as antiques. This one looks very newish to my eyes though. Any information appreciated.

    That’s how I interpret it. See what other people say. Is sure looks in newish condition, so I’m not certain.

    They made stuff like this when Little House on the Prairie was on the air. I got a real working mini oil lamp when I was a kid. It was brand new at the time, early to mid-1970s, but would be vintage now.

    Well I've been around the block a few times with acorn burners so i kind of know when I see them. But you are correct this lamp is pristine.
    Here is another I have. still looking for the shade for this one. Someday lol

    the others I've seen look the same. One seller even called it an old repair.
