    Hey all,

didn't know where to put this...

I have this horse and carriage made by Gecevo.
But dating it seems quiet hard (to me!).

What I found is that the firm existed since the late 1800, don't know exactly when it became Gecevo. And that they where in business until the late 70 ties, even 80 ties but the name changed then.
It seems also to me that the notion Gesetzlich Geschutz (only part of the decal still shows on my example) doesn't not appear on his toys after the war when the firm did end up in the DDR. For what I saw Gesetzlich Geschutz disappeared on all and every post war German productions.
Also the metal roundel (tag) doesn't appear on post war items (to me again!! Not sure about this statement!).

    All help is welcome.

Thanks I did found the second one, not the first one.
Apparently they kept on producing the same models for years.
But my question is would it be possible to date them by the markings they bear.
Did they mention Gesetzlich Geschutz also after the war when producing in what became the GDR.
And from when until when did they marked their toys with that metal (mark) roundel ....
That trade mark roundel is not visible on the horses published in those post war catalogs. So could this be a clue...!!??
