I purchased this cabinet from an antique mall in Nashville and I’m desperate to know more about. I’ve researched it exhaustively for over a year with no luck but my gut says it’s an Italian maker.

The ONLY identifying mark is the stamp K12084 on the brass pull.

The wood does have a burled pattern but I’m not great with identifying wood. I would say it’s a Mid Century piece.

I would greatly appreciate any guesses!!

I see a little Art Deco and Stickley and Art Nouveau ! What a gorgeous piece. Can we see the inside?

@kmills, you're doing just FINE!!! It takes Most new members a bit of time to get the hang of the nuances of handling 'image posting':happy::happy::)!! It is a nice looking cabinet, of which I know nothing about, sorry to say!!! @verybrad??

Did you look everywhere for a sticker or other mark besides the handles? On the back; underneath; on the inside of the door?

Yes the more photos the better. You never know what will ring a bell for someone. A couple of the inside, wide and close up. Maybe one of the back.

    It's a fabulous piece.

This looks like it to me

Edit: After googling Bert England I am not convinced ... This auction doesn't show any identifying marks and the Bert England pieces I see online have quite a different vibe to them. Frankly, your piece is MUCH more attractive IMO

Well! That is the first piece of MCM furniture I have ever seen on this forum that I have liked!

(My toe trembled on the threshold of the 19th Century, and never managed to cross over. But I do like that thing. :) )

I agree with silverbell I have never been attracted to MCM furniture other than some Danish pieces my parents had. But I love the "class" of this piece the pulls are marvelous.
