Desk - style, age?

    35" wide, 29" deep and 29" high. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

    a few more pics needed. drawer construction, surface etc.. where bought ?
    at the moment it looks like a French Empire copy.

    Thanks for the reply, @Fid . It's in Texas and here's another pic. I've since found a few similar examples online that claim to be from the 1920-1940 period and described as "Louis XVI style ladies writing desk" . deskant2.jpg

    good guess Louis XVI. only thing that bothers me a bit are the round corners and metal adornments. but that may have been the artistic liberty of the copier.

    This could be a bit older but hard to tell. The additional pic really does not show us what we need to see. Drawer bottom solid or plywood? Dovetails? How are legs attached? A general pic of the underside without drawers in would be helpful.

    It's for sale nearby and those are the only pictures I have. If the seller ever messages me back and I go look at it, I'll post a few more photos. Thanks.
