Featured Did I find a treasure?

    With that lovely color, I can see why it caught your eye!

    Stone? (I don't know what kind, but someone else will be along.) Spittoon shape?

    It is stone, very slick and cool to the touch. No seams or bubbles.
    It measures 3" x 2"

    It looks like spinach jade ,and might be machine made . I *think* the thickness denotes newer ,but these are just my thoughts,Im no expert . It is lovely .

    Serpentine incense burner, Chinese. You put sand inside and place three joss sticks vertically, then light them.

    Hi,
    I agree the incenser is absolutely wonderful. That color always knock me for a loop.

    I think you are right since they are saying for incense. Possibly jadeite? Too shallow for spittoon.

    that is a relative term.. see if you can find another, try eBay search for jade or stone incense burner or censer.
