I've been buying/reselling costume for ages. Basically go on the "looks" of something or signatures, and never got into the D&E identification craze. But you can't help learning some stuff when you are on these boards and when I turned this over at a recent estate sale heard myself ask, "Is this figure 8 puddling?" Thought I'd get it for a learning piece. What do you think?

Sure looks like! Figure 8s on the back, sloppy solder/puddling and open backs on some of the stones? With orange manganese rhinestones no less. I'd say it's a no-doubter.

Those are the most 8-like figure 8s I've ever seen! Yes!

Actually the pin didn't catch my eye at first, but then turned it over and thought, if anything was ever figure 8 puddling, that has to be it, right?

And the pin is growing on me. Something about finding your first piece of a maker that is special. I still have my first Schreiner set from decades ago (carefully hoarded).

Those orange stones will light up like crazy under a blacklight, btw.
