Featured Does anyone know what type of Wood Bust this is?

    I Have this wood bust carving, I just think its pretty unique, and I love the realistic characteristics of the figure. I think its a hispanic man wearing a sombrero. Does this particular sculpture have a specific name. 10" Height

    Beautiful carving, Reeves.
    Maybe a neighbour.:playful: Both represent different Chinese Minorities. The woman belongs to the Hakka people, the women wear those wonderful hats with 'curtains' in summer. In winter they wear headscarves.

    Reeves's man is not Hakka, but definitely a Chinese Minority. I don't know which one though. Both of them look like they were part of a series of Minority costumes.
