Does Anyone Know Where Beautiful, Colorful Mask Made From a Husk Came From?

I found this in a local thrift store - I think it's missing part of one 'ear' or it could be how the husk formed.
It is from some kind of husk, not carved out of wood like most tribal masks. - Is it tribal? Or just a souvenir? Who / Where is it from?
I have masks from Gabon & other African areas as well as Haitian & Mexican, but I've never seen one made from a husk!
PS - Maybe the small round protruding mouth will help someone identify it?
Thanks all - I appreciate any info.

Here are some f the other masks & carvings & primitives I've collected - from thrift stores, estate sales & storage auctions. Whitish mask lower right is the Gabon mask (I was told)
Thanks again for any info on the husk mask!

IMHO it is intended as a decorative piece. It does not have holes in the eyes allowing it to be wore as a mask.

Could it be blonde coconut shell? Like this scoop from Papua Gulf:
