Would love to know more about its origin. All I know is what I was told by the grandson of the man it used to belong to - an eclectic collector from Newark Notts. According to the grandson it was in a box with paintings from the New York area with would make sense since this is the only thing I can make out from the back. The other paintings in the box were also dated between 1890-1920.
