Featured Drexel ,serpentine fronted chest ,what age ?

    Hi members
    this chest of drawers by Drexel ,I think they classed it as faux Georgian ,when it was made ,roughly what date were these made ? maybe 40s-50s.

    I believe this is from the Travis Court collection which was produced around 1940's.

    Interesting. The only drexel stuff we ever saw here was the office furniture.

    Thanks Laura very much for your reply, I felt this may have been the rough date it was made,even though not an antique when I bought it some 10years ago, a very nice shape and a well made piece.

    I agree with Laura. We have the lingerie chest of the same design and it is from Drexel's higher quality line.
