Need help with age of new purchase I made. Was told it was 1800's farm house drop leaf table. Either way I love it.

Nice looking table, Lisa! We will need a few more pictures to help determine age - how are the leaves held up, a better look at the legs and how they are attached, a picture of the main surface of the top close enough to show the grain of the wood and how many pieces make up the top.

    And Welcome!!

It has Sheraton legs, a federal style (1790-1830), is it period? Probably not but Bakers is correct, can't really see any construction details under the table.
It could be 19th century (1800s) though, it was very common for furniture styles to continue on, sometimes for decades out in the country while cities tended to move on much sooner to newer styles.

lol, OOPS Bakers! I get people in here confused for some reason, many are anonymous so kinda run together.
There, fixed it, all better now! :p

Not what I would call a farmhouse table. This seems to be a new buzz-word bandied about by dealers to sell about every kind of furniture. Tables like yours were made for decades and are quite popular. We see a lot through the store. Would say yours is 19th century if those are single board tops.

Me To! I am guessing those photo instructions link i posted didn't help. Resizing used to be a pain for me as well, i was using photobucket but i started saving photos in a windows file & now i can just right click the pic to resize and save a copy, MUCH EASIER!
