Hi! Went digging in the bottom of the cedar closet.....the "stuffit" place for all cloth things most likely never to be used again.....barring summer/winter clothes!!!! Found 3 Quilt tops that look somewhat soiled on the outside, but to me, the colors on the inside, I thought were amazing!!! I'm just showing the three that had the most interest!!!

I'm not sure on this first one how much is machine and how much is hand done.....So far having trouble loading.....Finally got the first one up.....it is approximately 88 inches square... and in the close-up you can see that the appliques are hand applied. Yes, there is SOME staining, but most of it is on the backing....I'm amazed at the brightness of the colors!! There are a couple more, but not as pretty as these 3! Do these patterns have names??? I'm guessing 1800's....maybe 1850's???? Not a clue when or where Mom got them!!!! ANY input MOST gratefully RECEIVED!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Next: The 83 inch square Quilt top below:

And lastly the 93 inch Quilt top Below, which is somewhat out of square as you can see.... those tiny red and yellow squares in the pattern are just about ONE INCH square each and hand stitched as you will see!! At least that's what MY eyes are seeing:
