    funny that they dumped it...in such good condition......as opposed to busted all to hell....
    almost like they hoped it would be salvaged...

    They left them leaning up against the dumpster rather than tossing them in - so I think you're right.

    Yes - but that type of bed bracket hardware has not changed in over 50? years. There were so many of those castings produced that sat in warehouses and rusted you can never tell their age.
    I have those exact castings on my Wifes Mothers bed that is at least 60 years old and the same ones on the Haywood Wakefield bed I got from my Mother from the 70's
