She also said that she dose not know if it works or if it is gold plated of gold filled. I can&#039;t see any 14k or 24k stamp or marks where they should be but it&#039;s gold in look so I&#039;m thinking it&#039;s less then 14k plated or its brass and the size suggests that it might be a ladies pocket watch but I don&#039;t know a lot about pocket watches and she might be asking too much if it does not work and I know American movements are not as valuable.
