I struck out today with a plan to visit thrift stores for about 6 hours today, and on my second store of the day a miracle happened. This was a store that I&#039;ve been to plenty of times, and I typically have a &quot;route&quot; I take through a store. With the exception of the clothing section, my route leads me through every aisle. I was making my regular journey, and I had just left the section that has all the silverplate junk; I was heading for the furniture/electronics section. On my way to that side of the store, I passed one of the employees with a cart who was heading back to the aisles I just came from. I quickly scanned the cart and on the lower level I saw a few items with potential (obviously could have been plated). Without being too intrusive, I turned around and walked behind the employee, and once they stopped the cart and started offloading items I took a closer look at the two items that caught my eye..........and just like that I was holding a plate that said sterling, and an amazing looking centerpiece bowl that said HAYDEN &amp; WILDEN. </p><p><br /></p><p>I was ecstatic and didn&#039;t even look up the Hayden &amp; Wilden while I was in the store. I decided to continue my journey to the electronics; I took longer than usual because I figured I&#039;d stick around and see if anything else came out. So glad I did; after waiting awhile I went back to the silverplate junk section and scored a big sterling bowl. I figured that was all the silver gods were offering today, so I went and made my purchase and went to a bunch of other stores throughout the day.
