It’s an 18ct gold ring with a pearl in the centre, flanked by two pear-shaped sapphires, and surrounded by old-cut diamonds. All the stones test as what they should be, and the band is stamped 18CT. The construction looks hand-done, with an open gallery underneath and milgrained bezels around the sapphires. I’ve attached a bunch of photos showing the front, back and hallmark. I’m trying to work out whether this is late Victorian, Edwardian, or possibly a later piece done in an older style. If anyone recognises this sort of layout or has seen similar examples, I’d really appreciate your thoughts. And also do we think it’s 18ct yellow gold and platinum or maybe gold and Silver also a possibility if Victorian Thank you ☺️[/QUOTE]
