I wonder if anyone recognises the pattern or maker of these dishes/plates please?
There are 12, (I managed to pick the only chipped one to photograph:rolleyes:)
They are 6.5” across with no markings and have a large ground concave pontil. A few bubbles but otherwise clear and pretty uniform.
    Any thoughts welcome.
    Thankyou
    :)

I don’t think British, fwiw. I do think of some decent age.

They feel quite quality if you know what I mean! Not flimsy, they have a little weight but still quite fine.

As in mid century? Or a bit earlier?

Does the pontil indicate likely hand blown?

The pontil indicates a finishing process after the plate was blown, possibly (but not exclusively) by hand.

The pontil creates a rise in the centre of each dish.

The rise was there before the plate was solidified. The grinding removed traces of the 'break' between the plate and the punty rod. The plate was blown as a bubble, then transferred to the punty rod, where it was spun to shape. (you can't blow a plate and flatten it while attached to the blow-pipe, it would have a hole in the middle)
