There is a Facebook group called “Terrible Art in Charity Shops” for those who want to see even more terrible art found in charity shops.

 

we need to see more??

 

The difference is that at least the people who post on the Facebook group know how awful the art is and a good time is had by all.

I got some art at the charity shop the other day.....it's not that awful...

In their own strange ways, most of the Facebook pieces are better than some of the treasures offered up on this group for identification.

The Icarus & Prometheus painting has some appeal for me, but more for subject than execution.
