Also one last question(s) about shipping. You said you wrap with tissue paper first. Would you also stuff the inside of these pieces with tissue paper? If so how full? Like a little or packed tight? Also do you pack the individual boxes tight with bubble wrap or news paper? Packing supplies here (northeast Ohio) are cheap. Also we have some great glass in my area.
The hideous "carnival glass" (sorry carnival glass lovers <3 its just my personal taste) is a huge seller around here. Its so over saturated but it just keeps selling. Im not sure why I'm telling you that. I guess to show I have been paying attention to values and trends, especially in my area. We have a great flea market here called Hartville, lots of Amish, very "country" themed antiques. I grew up in Southern VA and the emphasis was on colonial. Here its glass, especially depression and carnival.
I myself love european and American porcelain, china, ironware, and pottery. Juengstil (spelling??) , arts and crafts, decorative tiles, and the optimism of the pre ww1 years. The dawning of ideas. That sort of thing.

And because there is so much glass here, lovely French pottery feels more special. Bumpkin decorated limoges is still limoges to me. I can take my time selling it.

Sorry for rambling. Maybe I will start a thread about whats trending in different parts of the country and what is actually hard to aquire there locally.

u don't want the glass or china to move around.....whatever you use.
tissue paper inside a piece......waste of time.... imo

I've found that crunched up paper will flatten if the piece shipped is heavy ....like a pitcher.....and stick to foam for like items.

I've given up and taken down all my ebay posts lol. Another thing broken today and the lady was very rude about it. The worst part is I thought I had packed it well, but apparently I should have taped the lid down as it moved around? Anyway the lid was broken and the lady was pissed her 10$-find-at-any-flea market glass was broken and sent me several nasty emails until I refunded and blocked her. Im just not cut out for all that, I was so upset.

Just another rookie error. Actually lids and bases should be treated as two distinct objects and wrapped separately. I usually wrap the lids in a cardboard sleeve. Tissue paper, craft paper, thin bubble paper, cardboard sleeve. If there's a chance that any two pieces will bang together during shipping trust me they will. And you did the right thing: refund and then block when the crazy comes out. It's happened to me more than once. Don't let these kinds of things upset you but best that you don't go back to selling without learning the proper wrapping techniques. There should be plenty of you tube videos out there that can help.

Yes. I just sold this limoges vase for 12$ anyway at my yard sale. Ha! That makes a grand total of 16$ I've made. Ha!

Edit: I don't know why I keep saying 'Ha!'
