Featured Family photos - no ID on some :(

    I am sure to label all my photos so my kids and grandkids won't have to wonder who we all are. I can ID some folks, but others are a mystery. I'm just going to start making up names. I can't understand what someone wrote on the one of the two children. Incomplete words. They look terribly sad.
    The Indian maiden is my Aunt Willa, my mother's oldest sister born in 1898. She appeared in some local stage productions. I have photos of her in all sorts of costumes. I have the bead necklace she's wearing and it's not as hideous as it looks with painted dots on it.
    The Mammoth Caves photo is of my Aunt Dee and her husband Gardner - they're far left, second row from the bottom. It's dates Aug. 3rd, 1929 IMG_4383.JPG IMG_4380.JPG IMG_4386.JPG IMG_4387.JPG IMG_4388.JPG IMG_4385.JPG

    Those are wonderful family photos. I like the way the two children are holding hands in the first photo above.

    I'm hope you'll be sharing more/all of the photos as you go through them. ;)

    The writing on the one with the two children looks like Euge and Sce.
    Eugenie and ....?
    Maybe they look apprehensive, the man in front of them is hiding underneath a blanket behind some strange contraption, and they are told to look at him. Look where?
    They are very sweet though.
