I live in the Kingdom of Fife, Scotland, UK and work at the University of St Andrews. I research Scottish east coast pottery - mostly Fife and especially the output of Kirkcaldy's brickworks and potteries:
    1. Links or Kirkcaldy (later David Methven & Sons)
    2. Fife (later Robert Heron & Son (later Wemyss))
    3. Rosslyn (later Morrison & Crawford)
    4. Sinclairtown
I am always keen to learn about Scottish east coast pottery that has travelled outside the UK and I am happy to share information.

For those with a similar interest or anyone wanting to learn more please visit the Scottish Pottery Society at https://www.scottishpotterysociety.org.uk/ (Registered charity number SC003935).

Welcome to the forums! Interesting though I do admit knowing nothing about Scottish pottery -- perhaps you can show the forum some of your finds/favorites.

Welcome DWF, good to have your expertise on the forum.
I love Fife, got to know it through Scottish relatives. My favourite village is Pittenweem.
