Any thoughts as to the material of the hand? It seems like plastic to me, has a lot of surface wear, some cracking. Doesn't seem like stone or amber. The metal is gold filled, and the stone is glass.
    Thanks.

    lloyd249 it's not hoarding if it's valuable

could it be bakelite , it has the color of it , run it under some hot water and smell it ,A smell of formaldehyde means the plastic is Bakelite or Catalin.

Best not run it under hot water as is, in case it is celluloid. Put it in a plastic bag first and put that in hot water, if you want to test it.

Does not seem like bakelite to me, and doesn't test as bakelite using Simichrome.
