    Found a keeper!!
    Can anyone give me any info on my new live....she’s so putty! I’ll why I love her because I hate the color orange....

    The stone might be carnelian.. but you will need to have it checked professionally to be sure... :)

    Carnelian, marcasite, sterling, I would date it to the 1920s-1930s, flowers may be forget-me-nots, nice!

    Carnelian and marcasite in sterling. My guess would be 1930s, especially with the Sterling written out. A modern copy would say 925 instead. She's in her 80s if not even older. Just think of her as Betty White in a ring.(LOL)

    Many designers and others were using "sterling" marks into the late 1990's,it's not an indicator of age.

    True, but does occur far more often on older pieces.

    Funny, I would have thought this was sort of a revival piece, new but done with an old look. The one in the link isn't exactly the same -- it has many more marcasites up and down the sides. The settings just seem kind of heavy for that era, esp when you look at it from the back. Not sure though, just an impression from the photo. I could be wrong about the dating. It's pretty, either way. I love orange when its carnelian.
