I love the wooden furniture, especially the piano. I had one of those metal ones, and I loved mine, too. Can you show us the doll house again?

 

Love these. I have a fair few dolls' house pieces. The Addis bowl came in a set, it's lovely. With buckets and a mop, and small brushes ... really cute xxx

 

As for the watch, I found an old pocket watch missing the clock part. I put a picture in it for my neighbor who lost her husband, a pic of them together. She has it on display in her home. I may take this to my watch guys, get the innards removed, get a bezel, and do the same with this.

Okay, this is putting-off-grocery-shopping time. Some things from the weekend. Most of this was from my watch guy, all sterling. The teardrop amethyst earrings were $1.99 at a thrift shop.

Best thing to happen to it, probably. Even I know that brand sells in the Why Bother range.

 

Yeah....husband tells me mistakes are part of the learning process, and while I make very few, it still hurts my pride more than anything. I will get my money back and more in just the sterling. And you never know....could put it out next yard sale.

 

That's how I generally look at it too. I figure at tag/rummage/estate sales I'll end up with a certain percentage of "what did i do that for".

 

LOL! I am looking into being able to set up in a church with AC in August during a city-wide yard sale. Fee is only $15, don't know if they have any spaces left, won't do outdoors. They provide tables. Hubby and were planning a small trip that weekend, but we are flexible. If they don't have any spaces, it's a no go.

 

Good idea. No A/C no possibility. I wouldn't either; the MS and humidity don't mix. Neither do MS and standing around for hours.

I ask myself that with everything except silver ! Especially since,as yall remember ,I gave away and donated untold boxes when we moved in here a year ago. Guess what ? Not a closet or cupboard left empty ! Its a sickness,of wich i seek no cure!
