The GIA cert tells me it's not a lab stone, at least. Since $7500 is too low, I'll go $11,500 since 12.5 is already taken. That's stupid money.

It's not exactly the same, but it's close. That gives you an approximate age - barely post-WWI to the mid-20s. Or good enough anyway.

 

I do love the imagery on those cookery books.

 

Those books are either good or so bad they're scary. There isn't much in between.

 

I love old cookbook and those small booklets. But if the recipes depend on cream of mushroom soup or marshmallow fluff, not for me!

As long as they don't put meat and vegetables in jello molds, I can read them.
