It's probably like an essential oil burner.

It's agreed; Luna is a cat with very good taste.

The auction was held on February 1st in Columbus, Ohio. Our wonderful @ola402 assisted me in receiving my treasures & did a stupendous job packing them all up so they arrived safe & sound.:happy::happy:

The auction was for bottles that belonged to a fellow IPBA member who had passed away last year. I never had the pleasure of meeting her, but her taste in perfume bottles was spot on!!:smuggrin:

I spent a portion of a CD that was set to mature on February 2nd.

IMHO, I would much rather look at these beauties than some numbers listed in my bank accounts. :p:p:p :D:D

It is inoperable at this time. If you look in the back you can see where someone severed the electric cord which is very common as the cords are usually in very poor condition. Below is a photo of the top & the base. A small lightbulb would be used to warm the perfume oil in the small tube that fits into the decorative top. The pull chain which still works on the side is how you turned it on & off. The lightbulb would warm the oil & the scent would waft out of the opening in the top. I tell everyone they were the 1920s version of a Glade plug-in air freshener -- just a whole lot prettier. ;):p:D:D

They use ammolite stone/fossil for the face of the watch.

another quite cool 90s poster i found yesterday in the middle of a bunch of art poster prints

book was published in 95 (red fox publisher), so guessing advertising for a book store

don't think it'll be worth a great deal, but can't find another online to find out

if it was a roald dahl book, probably more

It would have to be rewired, which might actually devalue it. The original cord was probably cloth-wrapped with rubber, and couldn't be sold with the plug attached. Not that anyone in their right minds would plug it in.
