It is a Moroccan teapot. They brew fresh mint tea in it.

I bought 3 bags of jewelry at auction last night for $15 each. I found one pair of 14k with a small diamond and pale green stone in one bag and several sterling pieces. There were also several pieces of Damascene by IA Midas. A pretty good haul for someone who rarely buys jewelry. But 1 of the usual jewelry buyers wasn't at the sale last night. I was also able to buy some porcelain animal figurines because 2 of the usual buyers weren't there.

It was an odd night because there were lots of buyers we hadn't seen for a while and a lot of the usuals weren't there. A change in the seasons probably.

Those are nice, heavy Toledo pieces. 1970s, I'd think. Are the malachite earrings silver?

The best thing is that all but one pair of earrings are pierced. So much easier to sell.

I'll bet those green stones are peridot. I have a pair just like 'em.

It has been raining every flea market day, the thrifts haven't picked up with spring donations, it's cold, and there are few estate sales Wah! My husband talked me into treating myself. I've been looking at the Effy ring at Macys, it is sold-out in most places, so it was 75% off and I splurged. Haven't bought anything expensive for at least five years for myself. We also got new phones yesterday, we had ours for five years, his was running slow. We traded our old ones in and got $800 off the top-of-the line Samsungs (his treat.)

I was loading my van at the lock-up today ready for Saturday morning at York.

I was pulling crates from shelving that I probably have not looked at for 5 years.
I was obviously too busy to sort things at the time, so just put them away until a day like today.

A plastic jewellery maker's craft box with packets of Sterling silver wire and other pieces of silver.

That's another 82 grams of Sterling to add to the 738g I already had for the gold buyer.

I've been looking at gemstone pages and Peridot, in the pictures at least, are more yellow than these stones but that's the closest stone.

Some peridots are irradiated or heat treated, so who knows. They look right to me. Nice little haul for $15.

I know what you mean about the Regulars not showing up. One reason I got the pile last weekend is because the only person who really was looking while I was there was a woman buying for herself. I handed her a few modern sterling pieces. The regulars were nowhere in evidence.
