Okay, I guess I will have to post these on the militaria board. They are beautifully professionally framed, you are getting reflections on the glass. They were $20 each, had a coupon, got 20% off. The Regis Neptune one- I see a few on the internet. The Golden Dragon one, the only picture I have found of it is reproduced on cloth placemats.

Got this awesome lamp for $5 a few days ago. Condition of the picture on the side is rough but most of it is still there. Wish I could somehow restore it but I think it's cool regardless! The socket says Bryant (assuming the lamp was made by Bryant electric co as well but could just be the hardware) pat May 17 1910. Paired it with a Hudson River shade from around the same period that I had already :) 1000013555.jpg 1000013557.jpg 1000013556.jpg 1000013558.jpg PXL_20250618_025454071.jpg

If it was me I would try tinting the white areas to match the aged paper that remains. Maybe with watercolor if it's a porous surface or a metal paint if not. Not something I'd recommend for someone who doesn't know how to mix colors and do fine detail though.

The shade looks great with it!

This guy's cousin, taking a bath in a pothole, maybe 10-15 feet in front of my car. He took off before I could pull the phone out after coming to a full stop.

@evelyb30 that is a great picture of a hawk! The beautiful belly side. I was able to get a picture of an eagle that landed on a balcony I was reading on at a hotel. Not realizing it was an eagle I had sent it to my travel budding asking her will this attack me.

Visited a thrift having a dollar day this morning. I bought a ton of modern purses going to the thrift shop, $1 each. This was $3, Majorica sterling, missing the back chain. I found a pic of it online with gold vermeil.

Pretty thing. The chain probably isn't strictly necessary, but wouldn't be hard to replace.

Thanks I will just use a silvertone base metal for the chain.

I have a great deal to post, I will post additional finds on the jewelry board.
The thrift shop said their jeweler now checks everything and that this wasn't sterling. Okey dokey.

I had skipped a yard sale Friday due to pressing errands, but this was there Saturday. JBK, never worn, stones still covered in protective plastic. All jewelry was $1.
