Top two purses, $1 each, bottom, $5. Red and tan woven purses made in Italy.

Last post here today, need to upload the rest to the jewelry board.
The pearls were a splurge at this price, but I can't capture the luster and iridescence. The earrings are faux pearls, $3, but match color-wise.

At the last stop, I almost missed this...went through the necklace rack three times before I saw it.

Got these puppies (technically not slang in this case )for $47.50 total from an estate sale this weekend. Unfortunately the guys gun hilt is broken off but overall both in good condition other than that. Both stamped made in Italy. But no factory mark from what I can tell so not true capodimonte :(
Also have some bonus thrift stores finds from over the weekend! Two Italian made porcelain table pieces, a Russian fairy tale lacquered box a japanese capodimonte replica bowl, and a John jollif inspired side chair - total was less than $50 or all that heheh. 1000013632.jpg 1000013585.jpg 1000013586.jpg 1000013613.jpg 1000013627.jpg 1000013611.jpg

Got out this weekend. At the first stop I found a box of Catholic religious "stuff" marked $30. I'd have passed but saw a chain with a 14k marking and "you know what? I'll take it. What the heck." In the box was a rosary that needed some pliers and... sterling with neodymium beads. They turn blue under the lamp in my living room. Third stop... if I still sold on line and sold breakables I'd have scarfed the lot; there were quite a few pieces I left. Two pieces of NA pottery, and one Goebel - but NOT a Hummel. Add in a cute little modern sterling necklace and ...$10 for everything. The paperweight was $5 elsewhere. Not signed but who cared. I'm guessing Italian or American; Chinese it ain't.

Thanks! I was surprised at the neodymium. I thought they were just nice purple glass, but in my kitchen I went hmmmm, and put it under a lamp I knew would make it change color..and it did! Right now it's in the kitchen window after a polish and wash off and natural shaded daylight makes it look blue to light purple too.

I have been out since Friday, so many estate sales here this weekend, and I'm going out tomorrow to one for the third day in a row. I will check in soon with finds, but I probably start a thread in the Antique or General Discussion forum just about the experiences.

I went to an estate sale with no jewelry. Spent $4, but...oops. Among other small bits, a Santa Clara blackware small pot, signed, and a sterling Steiff liquor label that retails for about $60 - Colonial Williamsburg pattern. Also a small Swarovski signed doggie. Oops! They'd advertised sterling, yeah right, and one piece I'd have grabbed was upstairs where the MS attack wouldn't let me go. Did OK anyway.(LOL)

This was after scoring some 14k Diamonique (AK Cubic Zirconia ) ugly rings for $5. They'll melt just fine and be ugly and tacky no more.

Wow what a great haul! Perhaps repayment for the MS misbehavior. :shifty:

I actually like the older Diamonique stones, but I can understand the melting with these crazy gold prices. All I did this weekend was go to estate sales, dumped quite a bit at one all three days, but they were not on top of their game. Today everything was 50% off, and anything that wasn't jewelry, Annalee, or over $30 was fill a bag day for $25. They told me I won the most-stuffed bags contest. I grabbed purses, new shoes perfumes, and clothing, Annalee, a bit of leftover sterling and some cute froggy glassware and other glassware. The clothing, purses, perfumes and shoes are going to my consignment shop this week. I am keeping a gorgeous black leather coat I got for $18.
These are beat up, well-loved, mostly from 1974-1975. I threw them on the bottom of a bag. I have a ton to photograph.

The Annalee figures would have been a hard pass from me, but ...score! The perfumes pay for the whole thing and the rest is gravy.

I'd trade it all for a fully functional body, no contest, but as booby prizes go it's noth the worst.

Actually, I found out Beyond Paradise by Estee Lauder commands a high price...maybe discontinued? Got that in one of my bags, full bottle of perfume. The Annalees full-priced were $12 for mediums, $8 for smalls. I bought the witch for $12 for me. I got the zebra 20%off the second day, so $9.60. I bought three of these black cats for $6 each on half-priced day. I have friends who like them, and I blew out the Halloween ones last year at top dollar. Nobody wanted the Thanksgiving or Easter ones, Christmas and Halloween were flying out the door at half-priced. I got a Valentine's Day one, too. Will photograph them this week.

I posted some stone jewelry finds on the jewelry board with questions, if you'd like to see them. The box of jewelry was $15.
