Thank you Cheryl! Was hoping you’d see this, you are such a gem! After posting here, I started seeing bits of information online that Marquand was also sourcing from other silversmiths and wondered if the marks could be attributed to another maker. So grateful to have your help!

Could not believe it when the auction ended & I got these 10 pieces for $47.00, $69.17 with taxes & shipping. :jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop:

Eight of the pieces are from 1901 to 1907 & are English sterling.:smuggrin::smuggrin: The vanity jar is marked "sterling" in amongst the design I think & the powder jar is not marked that I can find. However, if they aren't both sterling, they are doing a very good imitation of sterling. ;):hilarious::hilarious:

I am going to post the c.1903 green smelling salts bottle on the PG&P section to see if anyone knows the maker of the bottle. The holder is Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd.

The bottle to the left of the powder jar is Birmingham c.1906 Wm. Vale & Sons.

The bottle to the right of the jar is Birmingham c.1905 Wm. Hutton & Sons Ltd.

The 3 bottles are Birmingham c.1907 J.H. Worral Son & Co. Ltd.

The 2 huge bottles are London c.1901 Hart & Sons.

My favorite is definitely the green smelling salts bottle for sure!! :D:D:D:D

They don't look like mniatures. UPS or Fedex Ground with a business discount, probably.

Somebody was asleep at the switch, and it wasn't you. SCORE!
