    1. I never offer an amount, even when they tell me to.
    2. I always ask "how much" and if it's a bit much, I ask if that's their best price (cash at places they take credit cards, checks, etc.)
    3. If it's too much, I thank them then politely say "it's very nice, but it's over my budget." I don't burn bridges with sellers unless they are nasty or dishonest...in that case, it's scorched earth.

    Yes it is signed. Did not even bother to look when I picked it up. Just knew it is a nice piece. Think I bought 5 pieces that day.

    I did not. Is that a thing? I was attracted to the green stones and the picture is pretty true to life. I took a different picture on a white background and the colors did not come out right at all.

    Looking at some of the prices on ebay for similar, I probably could have gotten more for it. I did research it before selling and priced it to sell locally. I am happy with the price and who knows how long it would have taken to sell, had I priced it higher.
