I think i found rubber to fit the feet for $2.09 . Still keeping time.

 

This may qualify as a "find" in more ways than one....

Earlier this summer, I was bicycle touring the Oregon coast when I found a blue glass bowl labeled 'Peking Glass bowl' and that came with a Chinese stand. The price was great, and, being me, I bought it.

But then I had to carry it on my bicycle for at least a week and another c300 miles.

I knew I was going to come back to the coast later in the summer, so a day or two later, I decided to hide the bowl in the bushes along Highway 101.

Yesterday, 5 weeks later, I returned to the same spot and sure enough, it was still there.

 

That is too funny!

my pal and I went into the States , for a Hudson Vally action....
He , was an avid pot head....so we took an exit before the border , and buried his stash next to a big maple tree , by an opening on to a nice lake....

We dug it up , on the way home !!

I kid u not !!!

There was absolutely no way anybody was going to find my bowl, unless a road and litter crew came through for a massive clean-up. That, or a deer with a collector's instinct.
