worse comes to worse....you can always sit in that chair !!

 

all i picked up today is this copper relief 11" plate ,weight 43 ounces (very thick) no markings ,small soldered ring hanger , $3.
.

Thanks! The thrifts here are quite productive and I hit them regularly. We have a very mobile community here and they don't care one bit about old stuff. Makes for a good buying situation but not as great for selling.

The glasses were $3.00 for all. The chair has corded ribbing on the sides and back. Someone really did a nice job. I don't usually mess with upholstered goods but couldn't pass this one by.

 

And if the chair doesn't move, in front of the TV it goes! Today's find was cheap boneless sirloin and free ground turkey. The store had a package marked down to 99 cents (usually $6 for this variety) to get rid of it fast. I had a coupon. It doubled. No thrifts today. Did that yesterday; a jar from the Ill Will followed me home at half price.

 

here's one for the cat people lol , it's a painting by R. Reid in 94 ,is 25" x 19.5 " i took it out of it's frame to put a Wayne Gretzky ad poster in it .

 

Brad, I LOVE that chair!!!!! I love getting all kinds of bargains, too, Evelyb....the treasure-hunting is in all areas....I used to laugh at my dad getting excited over grocery store sales, who knew I would be doing the same thing. I love using coupons at department stores and dining out places the most. The husband calls me Sally Shopper.

We've also managed to find a snowstorm for Thursday. I'd rather be out hunting, but a day off isn't a bad thing, right?

 

I don't envy you.....but here it's raining and +2....after a generous cover of snow...then ice....& later tonight it goes down to - 16.......I can actually feel the pot holes cracking open..

It is going to 60 degrees today and then promising to have 3-5" of snow tomorrow morning.

he he! ,supposed to get to 0 c (32 f) by Sunday, it will be awesome weekend at the ski hill with those temps . had four layers on last week and was still cold lol .

 

Today, sunny and 50s. Tomorrow ... 8-12 inches predicted.

 

I haven't gone out to see what kind of bird he's eating yet.
