Hi bear, the glass stones are not cut but molded and the quality is not very good. Also the spring ring clasp looks very new to me, I would have expected a sport ring clasp. It is marked sterling which is good, but I get a new feeling from it.

Measure it. The longer it is, the more likely it is to be newer.

Thanks Marie - and yes, it was the length that made me think older.

Love the deco necklace! Really, modern?? To me it seems to be of the period:)
Good job on the earrings! I resently saw on Ebay a Thomas Mott brooch with the same art glass cab, and thought it was so unusual:woot:

You are... Penn State? It used to be known as a real party school, so a beer stein is totally appropriate.(LOL) I have one from UConn myself, but all it's ever held is junque.

I think that guy is just trolling for offers and put a $1 tag on it so people would look at it.

They seem to sell for between 10 and 15 bucks on eBay.

Picked this up for 5 euros. I assume art deco Czech?

It's way more yellow in person.

Van Briggle polar bears, another picker put them back on the shelf because they were priced separately and not as a pair @ $3.99 each. Don’t think she knew they were VB.

Gotta love when that happens! I did the anti-find this weekend. Got to the thrift and spent a dollar on in item for donation. I was going to a funeral, but the effin' body said "nope, nope and NOPE". OTOH I felt a lot better afterward and got to church today, where I gave away a tote bag full of rehome-me pieces. African fabric and some jewelry.
