I think I've said it before, this is a forum where sense and nonsense intermingle. Another one I often say is that humour is good for the brain.
After a bit of fun, we are recharged/reset to get on with the serious answers again. But those aren't always given in the same thread.
Threads go all over the place without anyone having to start a new thread. A natural meandering, which you can follow, but are not required to. You might grow to enjoy it though.
