A pair of English oils, landscapes.

A really dirty Victorian 'Old Man Walking'

    P1040940.JPG

A small landscape with a possible artist's name on the back stamp of the canvas, but it may be just the supplier and framer of the picture.

I remember on the old site AF adding his 2 cents about a low table I had questions about. "I'd throw it in my shed." Was the short reply.

    I was somewhat taken aback.

Later I realized that the best things are in AF's shed.

What the heck kind of shed do you have - or does the word "shed" have a different meaning than the one in the "states".

British sheds are a big thing. Here are photos of sheds of the year for 2016, from The Guardian. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/gallery/2016/may/25/shed-of-the-year-2016-competition

AF has explained sheds before, but it was a long time ago and in a place far away. Maybe he will talk about about his shed.

Sheds are for those who are land-challenged enough that they can't purchase a shipping container or school bus to store their hoard, and have a decent enough climate that temperature changes won't kill the things they have out in the shed.

There are some interior pictures in the thread Hoarder or Storer.

    1-P1030669.JPG
From left to right, first three windows, the shed.
Door in the crook of the L shape. Then there is an interior wall. The next door is to the garage, which is the rest of the building and ends where the picture ends.

The house beyond is the next door neighbour. The shed bricks and tiles and windows were chosen to match our house to help blend the thing in.

The white edifice is a summer house by Boulton and Paul, a once local firm more famous for making aircraft. The summer house will not fly but it is on wheels on a circular iron track so it can be rotated to face the sun. I think it dates from the late 1920s.

The green folding chair is for sitting in and sorting small stuff when it is too nice to be indoors.

Total cost about £20,000, from ebay profits.
