Found on the curb... is it antique Louis XV?

    It is not of the period, not antique, but much too beautiful to be left on the curb.

    That looks like the Roman Goddess Vesta on the last medallion, so I guess it may be based on a humidor type cabinet.

    It's a clock stand minus the clock isn't it? Looks like it might be early 20th to me.

    Looks newer to my eye. Second half 20th century. And I believe those types of pieces come out of Italy.

    I'd say vintage, nice glossy Italian or French appearance. Not an antique, but plenty of work went into this piece, and it seems crazy that it was sitting on a curb. Not thinking its a clock stand; could be a humidor or just storage.

    Not so much my style, but I'd keep it if I found it on the street, as unlikely as that would be. My curb finds tend to look more like sacks of garbage. :(

    The portrait of the lady with the ermine trim on her dress looks later to me. I'm with Debora, second half 20th century, probably Italian.

    Lol, thank you. A local thrift store put it out on the curb! They put furniture out every now and then.... I'm assuming what hasn't sold in a while.
