First item:
2 opal crystal plates, made by one of the important glass factories in France, during the first quarter of the 19th century. The painting on the plates is the "signature" of Jean-Baptiste Desvignes.

Second item:
A French Opaline Glass Tazza.
Bright colors, and a gilded bronze base.
