It's very French! It might be Emile Fourmaintraux but there are quite a few similar looking marks so you can try looking through these many pages for help. There is also a member here that I think can help @vitry-le-francois

This site is a little easier to view and has marks from Fourmaintraux Courquin that might be close to yours. They don't show Emile Fourmaintraux sig but seem to indicate they are in manganese.

It would not surprise me if this is a piece of faience from Angouleme, France (just up the road from me!) ... it's the A ... Alfred Renoleau of Angouleme signed his work AR then A ... but I am not sure that this is his ... best google him and see if you can find some good signature shots. The French Pottery forum is an excellent place for this enquiry.
