Frosted Egg and Basket

Discussion in 'Pottery, Glass, and Porcelain' started by Evangeline Gutierrez, Aug 1, 2020.

  1. I find the strangest things. Spotted this at a local thrift store. Really interesting. Only problem, I can’t make out the mark. HELP!

As a rule out you might look at the Mosser co web site. They used a "M" sometimes.

Both of those pieces were made by Westmoreland Glass. I own the basket in milk glass. If I could see it better, I'd say that the pattern is Paneled Grape. The egg has their Daisy decoration on it.

  8. I did some further research. It is Westmoreland Glass. I looked up the egg, but finding the basket in the same color seems to be more tedious. I did see some in the milk glass color and one egg in blue. Great find for me. Now to decide if I keep or sell?

    Yes, Aqui, Thank you!

  11. That's it! My niece and I placed the basket up against a light and got a better image of the mark. It's a really nice piece of vintage glass. Thanks again everyone for the help. This forum is awesome!!!
