Turn the torch off and.......they keep glowing.......for 4-5 minutes.</p><p>Research tells me they are phosphorescent particles that get ‘excited’ under UV but then hold that state when the light is removed. The green photos below are taken with the UV light off after exposure for around 15 seconds.
