Genuine von Schierholz or not exactly? Cute cherub/basket figural but this mark looks dodgey

I've never heard of von Schierholz and am too lazy to google it but this is a very high quality bit of German stuff, what exactly is the issue with the mark? Is it important enough to fake?

As Blooey says, this is a fine piece. If you were going to fake something you would more likely fake a better known factory.
