I just ran across a post in the EAPG group on FB about George :( from Don Plank. The post was from 5 days ago when I saw it.
"It is with great sadness that I pass along word to you of the passing of George C. Nesmith. George was a wonderful person, great glass collector and kind and helpful to all. He will be missed by us all but will be remembered and loved for his contributions. I have "known" George for the last 15 years or more only through "on-line" type interactions. Even in this manner, it was clear what an outstanding person he was."

I tried to see if it was mentioned here but couldn't find it and thought the peeps here would like to know.
I'm shocked. I've interacted with George several times over the years. First time was on the old eBay PGP board. I'm truly saddened to hear of this.

How very sad. George was one of the first who helped me on the old eBay boards about 15 years ago and continued to do so. A gentleman with knowledge willing to share.
