    Yikes. Don't ever bid big on GW unless you're certain you know what something is because they will never return your money. Every listing says they're not experts and even if they say something is XYZ, they'll weasel out and claim "we said we weren't experts!"

    There was an unsigned Victorian Renaissance style painting that went for 15k recently. I had to wonder if the bidders thought it was a da Vinci. :cyclops:

    It looks like they discovered that it was not real. The auction ended and the bids removed. At least it had a happy ending.
