German Ivory Statuette w/ Helmet Dragon Finial Mounted on Silver Pedestal

If you click on the pic you posted, it will enlarge. Looks like a knight in armor at the top. The shield has three stars but I can't make out what that is at the bottom. Agree that this crest likely has nothing to do with the maker. No other marks? If solid silver, I would generally expect some kind of hallmarks if from the dates suspected. Look it over carefully. They could be quite small and in an obscure place if not on the bottom.
