    Thanks Bear doesn't seem to have the one I have their wiki says that the twist to open (Sorry should have mentioned that were made from 1934 hence my guess at date especially with patent pending on it whether that is significant not sure 15150634013990.jpg 15150634013990.jpg

    They are going for good money now as there is a resurgence in their use.
    I`ve just obtained some safety razors and I`m experimenting to find the best shave.

    Electrics are no good on me.

    Mach 3`s I`ve used for a few years but they are expensive.

    Wilkinson Sword blades in a long handled butterfly razor gives the closest and cleanest shave upto now, and I`m down to only 2 cuts per session.:cool:

    Right that was in the back of my mind thanks for link that was awesome to read and very interesting not to concerned about the marriage I reckon the box itself and razor itself would be worth slightly more than the 3 dollars each.
